So the long awaited characters page is something we've been trying to get up for months, but with so many things going on, it was hard to address. I do hope to have at least a basic form up by the end of the tour. When it is, this amazing piece will join those you already know!
This been difficult to hide from you guys because, gosh darn it, this picture is amazing! Welcome Adonis and Vale to the lineup! Personally, these two were my most anticipated art piece from Omupied! :D
They both make their debut--though briefly--in Kings or Pawns. Vale had a few brief moments of screen time (Chapter 12, 16, and most of all, 28). And in the aftermath of 29, Adonis got a little screen time himself! But let me hint that he played a larger role than you realized.... OOO TANTALIZING.
As with Jerah, there content is a bit spoilery. Thus, I've made them dificult to read to help wandering eyes--you can read it at your own peril (by highlighting them to make it easier). I recommend finishing Heroes or Thieves first, personally!
Name: Adonis | Name: Vale
Bio: Kind and soft-spoken, Adonis at first glance seems to be wholly unsuited to his role as the warlord Saebellus’ first lieutenant. However, underneath his gentle exterior, Adonis harbors a will of iron and the determination to see his lord’s course through to the end. His patience is also an excellent balance to the emotional recklessness of his partner and captain, Vale. | Bio: Vale is the captain of the warlord Saebellus’ forces. Appearing vindictive and cruel to outsiders, Vale appears to possess a lust for blood that indeed wreaks havoc on Saebellus’ foes. Yet, his partnership with Adonis reveals a vulnerable, wounded past. His loyalty to his chosen companions is boundless, though he demonstrates time and again that his personal decisions trump the orders of his peers and superiors.
+Favorite color: yellow | +Grew up in Mistarel to a very wealthy family, but moved to Elvorium in his teen years where he was sent to the city’s finest schools and academies in hopes to curb his “shameful” personality. His family denounced him upon his desertion to join Saebellus
+Most likely to take stray animals from the streets | +His unchecked tongue has earned him scorn by his superiors and frequent visits to the gauntlet
+Loves to read, especial romance novels and poetry | +Loves: hiking with Adonis |
In Heroes or Thieves, they jump in full-force. Two of my absolute favorite characters both for their humorous dynamic and personal depth, I’m on cloud 9 revealing them (you can right click and select "view image" to see a larger version):
